Professional Hotel Housekeeper Surf Hotel & Chateau

We are seeking four professional housekeepers to join the team at the Surf Hotel & Chateau, a new one-of-a-kind property located in beautiful South Main, Buena Vista, CO. These positions are seasonal positions with the opportunity to be considered for year around employment. The goal of our new hires is to create a clean and orderly environment for our guests that will become a critical factor in maintaining and building our reputation.

• Cleaning Responsibilities:
  Deep clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, including dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, and cleaning mirrors.
• Brand Standard:
  Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards. Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies.
• Linen & Supplies:
  Replace used linens, make beds, and restock toiletries, towels, and amenities.
• Maintenance & Safety:
  Report maintenance issues (e.g., broken lights, leaking faucets) to management and adhere to safety/sanitation procedures. Notify supervisor of any damaged items.
• Efficiency:
  Manage time efficiently to meet, or exceed, hotel cleaning quotas.

  Deal with complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
• Personal and Team Safety:
  Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices.

• MUST HAVE HOUSING AND RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION
• Availability:
  Must be available to work weekends.
• Experience:
  
  Previous experience in cleaning or hospitality is required. Proven experience as a cleaner / housekeeper / houseman / laundry is preferred.
• Language:
  Knowledge of English language.
• Physical Appearance: maintains a clean and professional appearance. Maintains work uniform.
• Physical Ability:
  Ability to stand, walk, lift, squat, kneel, and bend for extended periods. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work quickly without compromising quality.
• Attributes:
  Strong attention to detail, great time management skills, reliability, ability to work unsupervised, good communication skills, customer-oriented, friendly.
• Industry Knowledge:
  Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment (vacuums, mops), and hygiene standards.

• $18-22/hour - Pay based on experience.

20 to 40 depending on skill level and availability.
