Cozen O’Connor’s Boulder office is seeking a Labor & Employment attorney to join our practice representing employers in all aspects of labor and employment work. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience working with both union and non-union workplaces to support positive labor relations, provide advice and counseling, and defend litigation and administrative charges. This role will include advising employers on traditional labor matters, including union negotiations, collective bargaining, grievance, and arbitration issues as well as handling employment litigation and counseling.
Candidates will have litigated claims involving discrimination and harassment, wage and hour, accessibility, and non-compete and confidentiality agreements. Experience advising clients as to employment law compliance, policies and procedures, employment contracts, discipline, terminations, reductions in force, and wage and hour audits as well as conducting workplace investigations is preferred. Strong analytical and communication skills as well as excellent academic credentials are required.
A license in good standing in Colorado is also required.
The salary range for this role is $220,000 - $270,000 and represents the Firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and location.
