About the job

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company.

You’re equally comfortable explaining your team’s analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

In gTech Users and Products (gUP), the team’s mission is to advocate for Google’s users by creating helpful and trusted experiences across the product ecosystem. The team achieves this by meeting partners and consumers where they are with support and help, representing their needs with product partners and proposing fixes and features that elevate their engagement with Google’s product ecosystem. Additionally the team provides a range of product services that ensure products are optimized for every user, no matter where they are in the world (e.g., localization, digitization, partner integration, and more).

Google creates products and services that make the world a better place, and gTech’s role is to help bring them to life. Our teams of trusted advisors support customers globally. Our solutions are rooted in our technical skill, product expertise, and a thorough understanding of our customers’ complex needs. Whether the answer is a bespoke solution to solve a unique problem, or a new tool that can scale across Google, everything we do aims to ensure our customers benefit from the full potential of Google products.

  • Navigate the evolving generative AI landscape to anticipate technical blockers, manage dependencies, and ensure scalable conversational AI architectures.
  • Drive improvements in organizational effectiveness, team processes, and cross-functional collaboration to establish best practices.
  • Mentor and guide other team members, fostering knowledge of technical program management.
