Lockheed Martin's OPIR program is seeking a talented Dev Sec Ops  Engineer with an active Secret security clearance to work onsite from our Boulder, CO location.

This is an EARLY CAREER (level
2) ROLE where candidates typically require 1+ years of experience and a BS degree.

As DSO Engineer you will:

• Engage in the fundamentals of design, implementation, and execution of common Dev Sec Ops  methodologies.
• Display the ability to install, integrate, test, fix, resolve issues, and maintain the software suite across a heterogeneous environment.
• Apply technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques to solve a wide range of difficult technical problems.
• Support multiple project objectives utilizing validated technical skills, implementing industry standard methodologies, and collaborating with colleagues, contractors, and customers.
• The position requires attention to detail and the ability to efficiently run builds, deployments, analysis, and configuration resolutions for multiple integrated applications during software release cycles for development, test, and production environments.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with Git
• Python and/or shell scripting experience
• Designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software
• Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts to drive shared solutions
• Hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting Linux operating systems (e.g., Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS), with experience using the command line, package management, and system security across multiple distributions
• Active Secret clearance required prior to start and the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance

Desired

Skills:

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Dev Ops experience or software focus in automation
• Experience with Docker and/or containerization
• Knowledge of managing third-party software (COTS, GOTS, FOSS) for efficient storage and reusability
• Experience with Agile process tools (Version One, Atlassian JIRA, etc.)
• Experience developing maintainable Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Chef/Puppet)
• Ability to support multiple release project schedules
• Understanding of test automation and pipeline integration
• Experience with static analysis tools and integration into a pipeline (Fortify, Coverity)
• Understanding of containerization – experience with Kubernetes and/or Helm charts
• Infrastructure implementation of virtualized hosts in VMWare or other cloud provider
• Basic network understanding and diagnostics
• TS/SCI
• Ability to obtain SEC+ certification within 60 days of onboarding
