Job Description
Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to prepare test cases and perform testing of the product/platform/solution to be deployed at a client end and ensure it meets 100% quality assurance parameters. The role involves understanding the test requirements and test case design of the product.
- Authoring test planning with appropriate knowledge on business requirements and corresponding testable requirements
- Implementation of Wipro’s testing approach using Model-based testing and efficient test generation
- Ensuring the test cases are peer reviewed to minimize rework
- Work with development team to identify and capture test cases, ensuring version control
- Setting the criteria, parameters, and scope/out-of-scope of testing and involvement in UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
- Automate the test lifecycle process at appropriate stages through VB macros, scheduling, GUI automation, etc.
Automation & Framework
- Design and execute the automation framework and reporting
- Develop and automate tests for software validation by setting up test environments, designing test plans, creating test cases/scenarios/usage cases, and executing these cases
- Ensure defects are described clearly with replication patterns and are in line with project/program/account norms
- Detect bug issues, prepare defect reports, and report test progress
- Maintain quality of deliverables within SLA norms and communicate test status
- Design and timely release of test status dashboards to stakeholders
- Provide usability and serviceability feedback and trace results to quality risk for stakeholders
Status Reporting & Customer Focus
- Maintain good quality interaction with customers via email, fault report tracking, and calls
- On-time delivery of Work Status Reports (WSRs), test execution reports, and dashboard updates
- Accurate updates in project trackers (eCube, TMS, etc.)
- Timely responses to customer requests and minimize complaints

- Experience:
3-5 years - Compensation range mentioned: $45,000 to $110,000; final compensation depends on location, skills, and experience
