* Design and maintain container orchestration platforms; automate platform lifecycle (provisioning, upgrades, scaling, hardening).
* Automate deployment and configuration of core infrastructure services: identity and access, networking, application security, logging, monitoring, and delivery.
* Build and evolve CI/CD pipelines and Dev Sec Ops  workflows; integrate tests, security scans, and compliance gates.
* Collaborate with internal/external platform consumers to guide architecture, data migration, implementation, troubleshooting, monitoring, and operational excellence.
* Author runbooks and platform documentation; contribute to reliability reviews and continuous improvement. Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related STEM field and 8+ years of relevant experience; OR Master's degree plus 6 years.
* Experience with public/private/mixed cloud environments (AWS, Azure; RHOSP, VIO).
* Hands-on with containers (Docker) and Kubernetes (or Rancher/Open Shift).
* Practical experience with CI/CD tooling (Git Lab, Jenkins) and configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
* Infrastructure automation using Terraform/Terragrunt and pipeline orchestration.
* Supporting production-grade apps in virtualized/cloud environments using automation.
* Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to work cross functionally. Security & Compliance
* Knowledge of DoD/IC security practices: encryption, certificates/key management, patch/STIG/RMF hardening, auditing.
* Familiarity with scalable networking and web standards: NGINX/load balancers/firewalls, REST APIs, web security mechanisms. Preferred Tools & Technologies
