Technical Product Manager – Go-to-Market Platform
Boulder, Colorado Office | Full-time | No visa sponsorship available
About the TeamThis role sits at the heart of how Sum Up operates and scales in the US market. We’re responsible for the internal systems that power everything from billing and partner residuals to Salesforce and GTM reporting. Right now, we’re in the middle of something genuinely complex and important: consolidating a fragmented set of legacy systems into a unified platform better aligned with our Acquisition motion globally.
This is a new role, and it’s a critical one. We don’t yet have a single product owner for the end‑to‑end sales platform in the US. We need someone who can map where we are, build a roadmap to where we need to be, and work across Engineering, Finance, Data, Sales, Ops and GTM to get us there. That’s what this role is here to do.
If you’re energized by untangling complexity, building things that last, and being the connective tissue between technical teams and business outcomes, this is the opportunity!
What You’ll Do- Own and prioritize the US platform roadmap across Salesforce, billing systems, partner residual tracking, internal tools, and key reporting surfaces with a clear focus on integrating into the global Sum Up platform and retiring legacy systems
- Map and continuously refine the end‑to‑end quote‑to‑cash and reporting flow, ensuring systems connect reliably and the data can be trusted
- Work closely with Platform Engineering, Data, Finance, Revenue Operations and GTM leadership to understand pain points, define requirements, and balance short‑term business needs with longer‑term platform transformation
- Translate data needs to our Engineering and Analytics teams to streamline and bubble up business and product requirements
- Produce and maintain a clear, shared map of all relevant US systems and flows covering Salesforce, billing engines, partner residuals, internal tools and reporting and use it to drive alignment across teams
- Define and run the rituals that keep delivery on track: intake, backlog grooming, sprint ceremonies, and regular stakeholder updates that build trust and transparency
- Identify and lead quick wins alongside longer‑term integration work, small but meaningful improvements that demonstrate progress and reduce the operational burden on teams across the business
- Strong experience working with Salesforce as a product surface including objects, flows, integrations, and GTM processes and the ability to partner deeply with Salesforce admins and engineers
- Proven track record of integrating multiple internal systems (such as CRM, billing engines, data warehouses, and internal tools) rather than optimizing a single product in isolation
- Comfortable working with APIs, backend services and data pipelines, and able to make informed trade‑offs across these layers including querying and interpreting data using SQL or similar
- Experience leading complex, cross‑functional initiatives that span Engineering, GTM, Finance and Operations, with multiple dependencies and stakeholders
- Ability to run agile product delivery end‑to‑end, from backlog management and writing epics to release planning, with distributed engineering teams
- Global experience with the flexibility to work as needed across flexible timezones including Europe and South America, with some travel required
- Opportunity to work with Sum Uppers globally on large‑scale fintech products used by millions of businesses worldwide, from our Boulder office. This involves an office‑first setup
- Enrollment into our Virtual Stock Option Program: you will own a stake in Sum Up’s future success
- A dedicated annual L&D budget $2000 for your individual development, which can be used to advance your career through further education
- Generous time off: 22 days of paid vacation, plus an extra day each year up to 28 days, public holidays, quarterly Wellness Days, and special leaves
- Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion: be part of a workplace that values and promotes diversity, fostering an inclusive environment where everyone’s perspectives are respected and embraced
- Health and…
