As the leading provider of Cybersecurity-as-a-Service (CSaaS), RADICL is revolutionizing advanced cyberthreat protection for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in the U.S. Defense Industrial Base (DIB) and other regulated industries. RADICL is ushering in a new era of turn‑key and affordable cyberthreat protection via its AI‑powered virtual SOC platform that allows human and digital agents to quickly and seamlessly become SMBs’ day‑to‑day compliance and security operations team.
RADICL’s turn‑key CSaaS offering uniquely combines compliance management with AI and expert‑driven 24/7 security operations. We guide customers to regulatory and best‑practice adherence with standards such as CMMC and NIST CSF while also delivering 24/7 threat monitoring, deep‑spectr threat hunting, incident response, vulnerability management, and security awareness training.
About the roleSenior Software Engineer – Platform Team. Design and build API integrations and highly scalable data‑processing pipelines that power our security data ingestion, handling both structured and unstructured data from diverse security tools and log sources. Integrate log collectors and forwarders (Fluentd, Fluent Bit, Vector, Logstash, Elastic Beats) and work with data from EDR platforms, cloud providers, compliance tools, and other security data sources.
This work directly impacts how quickly and accurately we onboard new data sources and how effectively our AI‑powered virtual SOC delivers threat detection and compliance capabilities. You will also be a key part of implementing our agentic automation for parsing and mapping dynamic data sources.
Enjoy fast‑paced environments, bring a positive attitude, and excel at getting things done. Be self‑directed, self‑started, top‑tier talent eager to help others raise their game. Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with people of various backgrounds and skill levels. Desire to make meaningful, important work and build something great.
As a RADICL Senior Software Engineer, you will:- Work on cloud‑native, distributed systems – reliability, performance, and security in AWS, GCP, or Azure; microservices;
Docker and Kubernetes; CI/CD (e.g., Git Hub Actions). - Shape system architecture and quality – oversee how systems connect; conduct code review, testing, documentation, and make clear trade‑offs for multi‑tenant, mission‑critical environments.
- Design and build API integrations to ingest security data from third‑party tools (EDR, cloud providers, compliance platforms, and other security data sources).
- Develop log parsing and data‑mapping pipelines to normalize structured and unstructured log formats into our unified schema.
- Integrate with log collectors and forwarders (Fluentd, Fluent Bit, Vector, Logstash, Elastic Beats).
- Create and maintain data mappings between source schemas and our internal data model.
- Optimize ingestion performance and ensure data quality, completeness, and timeliness.
- Document integration specifications and support internal and external stakeholders with technical guidance.
- Contribute to the design of our emerging agentic parsing pipeline (LLM‑powered extraction for complex formats).
- Data integration fundamentals: ETL design, RESTful API development, data mapping, and schema design.
- Log parsing and normalization: experience with regex, Grok‑style patterns, or similar; comfort with structured formats (JSON, CEF, syslog, CSV) and unstructured log formats.
- Log collection/forwarding tools: experience with one or more of Fluentd, Fluent Bit, Vector, Logstash, Elastic Beats (Filebeat, Winlogbeat), Open Telemetry Collector, rsyslog, or syslog‑ng.
- Security data platforms: familiarity with security data ingestion patterns; experience with Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Graylog, Sumo Logic, Google Chronicle, IBM QRadar, or similar platforms is valuable.
- Programming: strong proficiency in Go, Kotlin, and/or Type Script.
- Data modeling: ability to design schemas for security/observability data; familiarity with Elasticsearch and Elastic Common Schema or similar is a plus.
- Cloud and infrastructure: experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP;…
