We are seeking 2 experienced Open Shift Git Ops (ArgoCD) Consultants to support a large-scale Kubernetes platform modernization initiative. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and optimizing Git Ops-based deployment pipelines using ArgoCD within Red Hat Open Shift environments. You will serve as a key technical advisor, helping establish enterprise Git Ops standards, improve deployment automation, and enable scalable, secure, and repeatable delivery practices across multiple clusters.
This has an onsite requirement of 2 weeks/month in Boulder, CO. This program will extend for a year with incremental funding. Responsibilities
* Lead the design and implementation of Git Ops workflows using ArgoCD within Open Shift environments
* Architect and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines aligned with Git Ops best practices
* Integrate ArgoCD with enterprise tooling including Git repositories, CI systems, and secrets management solutions
* Define and enforce Git Ops standards for multi-cluster Open Shift deployments
* Collaborate with platform, Dev Ops, and application teams to onboard workloads into Git Ops workflows
* Troubleshoot deployment issues across Open Shift clusters and ArgoCD-managed applications
* Implement role-based access control (RBAC), security policies, and compliance requirements for Git Ops operations
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship on Git Ops adoption and maturity Requirements
* Secret Clearance (Preferred)
* Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Open Shift
* Deep expertise in Git Ops principles and implementation using ArgoCD
* Proven background building and managing CI/CD pipelines in enterprise environments
* Experience with Kubernetes deployments, cluster operations, and application lifecycle management
* Familiarity with Git-based workflows and version-controlled infrastructure practices
* Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker/CRI-O)
* Experience integrating Git Ops tools with enterprise Dev Ops tool chains
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in distributed systems
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work in client-facing environments
* Prior consulting or large enterprise experience preferred
