Description
This position is for a Cyber Security Engineer on the Next Generation GEO (NGG) program based in Boulder, but also supported in Longmont CO. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic Cyber engineering team that designs, develops, documents, tests, and maintains full spectrum cyber solutions. This position is specifically for an individual interested in leading Authorization and Accreditation using Risk Management Framework & Cyber Requirements activities for the NGG development systems.
Responsibilities- DOD 8570 Experience.
- Experience with a SIEM technology.
- Proven experience with DoD cybersecurity requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Experience with Secure Configuration/Hardening of DoD Information Systems.
- Experience performing cybersecurity activities in support of software and system requirements, design, development, testing, and sustainment.
- Experience with Net Brain, Zenoss and Hewlett Packard Network Automation (HPNA).
- Familiar with eMASS, HBSS, ACAS, SCAP Compliance Checker (SCC), DISA STIGs.
- Experience with Secure Configuration/Hardening of DoD Information Systems.
- Experience with Intel Driven Threat Modeling, preferably classified Cyber Threat Intel Support.
- Experience briefing complex cyber security principles to all levels of knowledge and skill.
- Experience briefing high level customer stakeholders with cyber security concerns and remediation tactics.
- Knowledge of NIST 800-53.
- Experience with RHEL and Windows Server/Professional.
- Experience with SIEM and cloud technologies including Log Rhythm, Splunk, Jira, and Confluence.
- DoD 8570 IAT II Certification.
- Ability to provide guidance on DoD Cyber regulations and requirements to engineering and software development staff.
- Experience with responding to cyber incidents from detection through remediation.
- Intuitive and proactive self-starter that’s accountable and mission focused.
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay RateThe annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $101,000 - $178,135. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
