The Workday Platform Product Marketing team drives market strategy and go‑to‑market activity for Workday’s platform offerings, including the Agent Platform, Workday Build, Workday Extend, and more. The team works closely with Product, Engineering, Partner, and GTM teams to bring new platform capabilities to market and accelerate adoption across the Workday ecosystem.

The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager to lead the narrative for Workday’s Agent Platform—spanning agent governance, agent management, and agent interoperability. This high‑visibility role requires strong executive presence and operational rigor. Success will be measured through impact across platform narrative clarity, market leadership perception, and field effectiveness.

Key Outcomes
  • Adoption & Growth:
    Drive platform adoption by building a unified Agent Platform narrative that gives customers confidence to build their agentic strategy on Workday.
  • Market Narrative & Awareness:
    Position Workday’s Agent Platform through a clear, consolidated story highlighting differentiation and market‑leading approach, increasing analyst, partner, and customer recognition.
  • GTM Impact:
    Equip Sales, Enterprise Architects, Partner, and Solution Consulting teams with a cohesive, technically grounded agent platform story and the enablement assets to deliver it confidently to CIOs and IT leaders.
Responsibilities
  • Top‑level Narrative & Message Generation
  • Establish and thread a holistic agent platform across governance, management, and interoperability offerings.
  • Develop messaging frameworks that resonate with CIOs, IT leaders, and enterprise architects.
  • Executive‑Level Engagement:
    Serve as primary marketing voice for Workday’s Agent Platform with CIOs, IT leaders, and senior customer stakeholders; support analyst briefings, executive round tables, and customer advisory sessions.
  • Competitive Intelligence & Persona Insights:
    Monitor competitor platforms, translate insights into positioning and strategic recommendations.
  • Technical Enablement & Content Creation:
    Create high‑value field‑facing and technical content (sales decks, guides, thought leadership); build and deliver compelling demos.
  • GTM Strategy & Launch Execution:
    Lead cross‑functional GTM programs for Agent Platform capabilities, partnering with Product, Engineering, and Events teams to drive adoption at events such as Dev Con and Workday Rising; track success via metrics.
Basic Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in technical product marketing, with depth in platform, infrastructure, or enterprise AI products.
  • Strong executive presence: comfortable speaking with CIOs and IT leaders and building trust with senior technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to distill complex technologies into clear, compelling, differentiated narratives.

Benefits and Compensation
  • Base salary range (primary location: Boulder, CO): $163,000 – $244,400 USD.
  • Additional US locations: $154,800 – $275,000 USD.
  • Potential eligibility for Workday Bonus Plan, role‑specific commission/bonus, and annual refresh stock grants.
  • Full compensation package includes benefits; details available upon request.
Approach to Flexible Work

We expect team members to spend at least half (50%) of their time each quarter in the office or working in the field with customers, prospects, and partners. Remote roles can also meet in offices for important events.
