Job Description Spectra Logic is a recognized leader in data protection, preservation, and cyber-resilient storage more than four decades, we have specialized in helping organizations manage, store, and defend high-value data across tape, object, and hybrid cloud architectures. As AI, advanced analytics, and regulatory mandates drive exponential data growth, enterprises, research institutions, and government agencies increasingly rely on our scalable, power-efficient, and resilient storage foundations.
Spectra Logic is seeking a high-impact Director, Product Marketing to shape market perception, refine strategic positioning, and drive go-to-market execution for our data storage and data management portfolio. This is a visible, high-responsibility role that influences how our solutions are positioned across enterprise IT, HPC, research, media and entertainment, and regulated industries.
The ideal candidate combines deep infrastructure marketing experience with strong technical fluency and strategic thinking. This individual will own end-to-end messaging and narrative development, partner closely with product management, sales, and executive leadership, and help elevate Spectra Logic’s voice in AI-era infrastructure, cyber resilience, and exabyte-scale data preservation.
Candidates must reside within commuting distance of our Boulder, CO office. Relocation assistance is not available. Only local candidates will be consideredWHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
· Own and refine product positioning and differentiated messaging frameworks for assigned product lines.
· Develop compelling narratives that translate sophisticated storage solutions into clear business value for technical and executive audiences.
· Lead competitive positioning, including market analysis and content development.
· Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends, customer requirements, evolving technologies, and competitive movements.
· Drive the planning and execution of product launches, coordinating across product management, sales, digital marketing, and channel partners.
· Develop value-based selling tools, solution briefs, presentations, and sales enablement assets.
· Represent Spectra Logic in webinars, industry events, public speaking opportunities, video content, and partner engagements.
· Support analyst relations efforts, including briefings, inquiries, and maintaining relationships with relevant industry analysts.
· Serve as a senior marketing voice in cross-functional product and strategy discussions, bringing market, competitive, and customer insight to roadmap and portfolio decisions.
· Mentor and elevate the broader marketing team, contributing to a higher collective standard for messaging quality, market insight, and go-to-market execution.
· Lead partner enablement across strategic resellers, VARs, and ISV partners, developing the messaging, tools, and co-marketing programs that drive partner-led pipeline and mutual revenue growth.
· Partner with sales leadership to align go-to-market execution, support field enablement, and ensure messaging and tools translate effectively into pipeline and revenue.
· Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic initiatives, core positioning, and portfolio strategy.
· Ensure alignment between field feedback, customer needs, and messaging strategy.
