Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Organizational Change Manager (OCM) and HRIS Project Implementation Lead for a 12-month contract assignment to support our enterprise transition to the global Dayforce HCM platform. This role bridges the gap between technical system capabilities, data integrity, and business readiness for multiple internal audience segments.
The role supports various workstream leads through OCM, communications, business process mapping, and end-user training documentation for People Services Business Partners and Payroll teams, as well as a hierarchy of manager and employee role-based user experiences. It also provides critical project support for the Core HR module—driving UAT strategy, supporting data migration efforts, validation work streams, audit compliance, and building training playbooks for a distributed workforce.
Key Responsibilities- Data Migration, Validation & Audit Compliance
- Partner closely with IT and People Services work streams to support the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of legacy personnel data into Dayforce, ensuring data mapping aligns perfectly with future-state system logic.
- Execute comprehensive data validation protocols pre- and post-load, conduct side-by-side system comparisons, spot-checks, and parallel testing to ensure 100% accuracy of employee profiles, organizational structures, and historical records.
- Establish and execute necessary auditing processes throughout the implementation lifecycle, documenting discrepancies, tracking remediation, and ensuring compliance with internal standards, SOX controls, and data governance.
- Organizational Change Management (OCM) & Communications
- Support the design and execution of an OCM framework tailored to People Services teams and field organization to drive high adoption of Dayforce core modules.
- Develop and support a project communication roadmap, drafting stakeholder updates, company-wide announcements, leadership briefs, and countdown-to-launch campaigns.
- Conduct stakeholder readiness assessments, identify friction points, recommend mitigation plans, and implement agreed-upon actions.
- Training & Process Documentation
- Build training playbooks, quick reference guides, video vignettes, and job aids for different user personas.
- Partner with People Services and operational teams to document "As-Is" versus "To-Be" HR workflows, ensuring future-state Dayforce processes are standardized, compliant, and published.
- Facilitate interactive training sessions, train-the-trainer workshops, and hyper-care office hours during deployment and post-go-live stabilization.
Required Qualifications
- System Expertise – Direct, hands‑on experience participating in large-scale HRIS implementation, including Onboarding, Core HCM, Performance, Compensation, Succession.
- Data & Audit Acumen – Proven experience supporting large-scale data migrations, writing and executing data validation scripts, and establishing auditing mechanisms during an HCM rollout.
- OCM & Training – Proven track record of planning and executing transformative change initiatives and delivering multi‑media training materials to a multi‑segment, dispersed audience.
- Testing Rigor – Experience structuring UAT scripts, managing testing data validation, identifying system bugs, and using modern project tracking tools.
- Industry Context – Experience in telecommunications, construction, utilities, or engineering trades is highly preferred, with an understanding of how to create training that resonates with non-desk/field employees.
- Superb Documentation Skills – Proven portfolio of clear, concise corporate communications, business process workflows, and end-user training documentation.
- Soft Skills – Empathy, active listening, stakeholder management, and ability to translate technical system language into simple, action‑oriented instructions.
- Contracting experience as an HRIS Implementation Lead, Business Analyst, or OCM Consultant focused on large-scale SaaS HCM rollouts (3+ years).
