Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of ten years’ experience covering systems administration, network design and administration, telecommunications, Dev Ops, and service desk/application support leadership.
  • At least five years of management experience, including managing cross functional teams (e.g. network, desktop, applications, Dev Ops)
  • US citizenship required.
  • Ability to receive client’s approval to work on contract required.
  • Must live in the US 3 of the last 5 years (military and study abroad included).
  • Experience supporting custom in-house, customer-facing applications and related operational support processes.
  • Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications.
  • Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks etc.
  • Experience managing department budgets.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple major projects simultaneously, from conception through completion.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Outstanding communication abilities.
  • Must be able to work independently, while meeting internal schedules and deadlines.
  • Must be able to supervise the work of others.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Summary

The Director of Information Technology provides strategic leadership and directs the technological operations and implementation of new IT systems and policies, including platform infrastructure, systems administration, Dev Ops, application support, network services, telecommunications, service desk operations, and the deployment and operations of all BI developed customer facing and manufacturing platforms. Provides direction to the IT teams to ensure systems, staff, vendors, and service processes are effective and functioning within budgeted limits, schedules, service expectations, and specifications based on requirements, with strong focus on internal and external customer service.

Works with senior management and business stakeholders to establish strategic plans and objectives, align technology operations with business priorities, regulatory obligations, and customer commitments, drive continuous improvement, and maintaining a customer focused service culture.
