Network Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across multiple locations. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, administering, monitoring, and troubleshooting network and security systems while ensuring optimal performance, cybersecurity compliance, and business continuity. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco Meraki networking solutions, Scale Computing hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI), and enterprise IT environments.

• Administer, configure, and support Palo Alto Networks firewalls, including security policies, VPNs, NAT, URL filtering, and threat prevention services.
• Manage and maintain Cisco Meraki switches, wireless access points, security appliances, and cloud‑based network management platforms.
• Support and administer Scale Computing HCI environments, including virtualization, storage, backup, and disaster recovery functions.
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve connectivity, security, and infrastructure issues.
• Configure and maintain routing, switching, VLANs, WAN connectivity, DNS, DHCP, and network segmentation.
• Implement and maintain network security controls while ensuring compliance with cybersecurity best practices.
• Support server infrastructure, Active Directory integration, and cloud connectivity initiatives.
• Perform system upgrades, firmware updates, patch management, and maintain infrastructure documentation.
• Assist with business continuity planning, backup validation, and disaster recovery testing.
• Provide technical support and act as an escalation point for network-related incidents and service requests.
• Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders on infrastructure projects and technology improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network, security, and infrastructure‑related issues.
• Ensure reliable, secure, and high‑performing IT operations across the organization.

• 3+ years of experience administering enterprise network environments.
• Hands‑on experience managing Palo Alto Networks firewalls.
• Experience managing Cisco Meraki networking solutions.
• Experience supporting Scale Computing or similar virtualization/hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) platforms.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, VLANs, wireless networking, and network security.
• Experience supporting Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and network monitoring tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation tools for infrastructure management.
• Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure and security improvement initiatives.
