space domain awareness; and aircraft survivability missions.

Sci Tec has an immediate opening for a Technical Infrastructure SME to work with the Infrastructure team lead and build and mentor the team responsible for global configuration management and task execution across multiple locations and compliance environments.

Responsibilities

The Technical Infrastructure SME will support various infrastructure and compute requirements across multiple locations. This person will have expertise in building and maintaining infrastructure platforms based on VMWare and Linux stack and will embody eagerness to create and own processes for enhancing the team and streamlining processes.

• Design and deploy functional networks and private cloud platforms (LAN, WAN, on prem compute) as a member of product teams and corporate infrastructure teams supporting custom applications and Dev Ops processes
• Resolve issues escalated by lower service desk tiers by troubleshooting deployed, cloud, and local infrastructure
• Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness
• Mentor team members on technical issues
• Create, oversee, and test security measures (e.g., access authentication and disaster recovery)
• Communicate with users to design and field optimal solutions
• Design and implement solutions to deliver superior network performance, capacity and scalability
• Maintain complete technical documentation in support of Authorization To Operate (ATO) packages
• Other duties as assigned
