Product Data Scientist, Gmail, Chat, Calendar

Staff Product Data Scientist role focused on metrics, analytics infrastructure, and self-serve reporting for Communications & Time Management (CTM) across Gmail, Chat, and Calendar.

• Lead research and development of metric frameworks to quantify user engagement and productivity

• Develop new methodologies to assess the impact of GenAI and agentic tooling embedded in Workspace products, including effectiveness, adoption, and efficiency gains.
• Serve as a strategic connector between product engineering and central data infrastructure teams.
• Mobilize resources and influence partner roadmaps while driving complex, multi-team telemetry and infrastructure efforts from inception through execution.
• Design and build scalable data models and analytics architecture that connect data across multiple product domains.
• Ensure analytics cohesion across Workspace rather than keeping product-specific data in isolated silos.
• Scope and execute initiatives to enable self-serve analytics

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• 10+ years using analytics to solve product or business problems, including statistical analysis and coding (e.g.,
