Description

We are looking for an experienced Attorney to join our team on a contract basis in Denver. This role focuses on foundational trust and estate planning, including drafting essential documents such as wills, powers of attorney, advance directives, and basic revocable trusts. The position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to handle client interactions with professionalism, and a commitment to managing a steady workload with precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and draft legal documents related to estate planning, such as wills, powers of attorney, advance directives, and revocable trusts.

- Meet with clients to discuss their needs and provide tailored estate planning solutions.

- Offer expert advice on trust and estate law to ensure compliance and effectiveness of legal strategies.

- Manage a consistent caseload while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

- Communicate effectively with clients, addressing their questions and concerns throughout the planning process.

- Ensure all legal documents are finalized and delivered in a timely manner.

- Stay updated on changes in estate and trust laws to provide informed counsel.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless client service and efficient workflow.

- Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all legal matters.

- Provide guidance and support for tax-related aspects of estate planning when necessary.

Requirements

- Licensed attorney with an active law license in the relevant jurisdiction.

- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in estate planning or trust and estate law.

- Proficiency in drafting legal documents for estate planning purposes.

- Strong knowledge of wills, powers of attorney, and revocable trusts.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously with precision and efficiency.

- Familiarity with tax implications related to trust and estate planning.

- High level of professionalism and commitment to ethical legal practice.
