Associate Team Leader, WFMOA: E-Commerce

As Associate Team Leader, you will focus on five key areas: safety, quality, customer service, productivity, and fun.
Daily Responsibilities- Ensure a safe work environment for all team members.
- Review work forecasts and determine productivity and utilization requirements to meet WFMOA objectives.
- Partner with other departments to maintain a timely process flow in and out of stores and support on‑line delivery promise.
- Identify and lead process improvement initiatives.
- Balance labor to operate an efficient shift while meeting all production goals.
- Embrace a start‑up mentality and emphasize “have fun”.
- Coordinate product dispatch to meet online delivery deadlines.
- Maintain awareness of in‑store customer needs and respond to requests promptly.
- Allocate labor and assign job duties for team members.
- Perform in‑depth problem solving to sustain continuous operations.
- Train, audit, and support team members on WFMOA SOPs.
- Ensure tools are available and coordinate repairs or replacements.
- Report and elevate systemic issues in a timely manner.
- Review and update SOPs according to WFMOA practices; address safety issues.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 18 months retail experience in retail, distribution, or logistics.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and overtime during peak seasons.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, and operations‑related applications (scheduling, ordering).
- Experience leading high‑volume teams.
- Ownership in your work and the team.
- Degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field.
- Ability to learn quickly and work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with little guidance.
- High energy, enthusiasm, and alignment with core company values.
- Expertise on products, item location, pricing, competitive awareness, and industry trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with all levels of team members and leadership.
The wage range for this position is $22.55–$36.08 hourly, commensurate with experience. Whole Foods Market offers Whole Benefits, including store discounts, paid time off, financial wellness, health & wellness support programs, and other team member perks.
