Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Facilities Manager 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in Boulder, CO. This leader will be responsible for all aspects of facilities management for the facility. The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings across all levels.

In this role you will:

  • Lead the facility organization in the day to day operation of the Boulder facility and response to emergencies
  • Supervise and manage the on-site facilities team and contracted building engineers
  • Coordinate all facility maintenance activities to include hands on supervision of multiple vendors (i.e., plumbers, electricians, etc.)
  • Manage capital and indirect budgets
  • Coordinate with leadership, personnel, outside agencies, and programs to ensure successful execution of site activities and operations
  • Set priorities, perform forecasting, and allocate the resources needed to complete all preventive and corrective maintenance tasks
  • Manage the maintenance activities for buildings, infrastructure, plant equipment, and systems necessary to support successful facility operations
  • Plan and supervise building modifications including major capital Leasehold Improvement (LHI) projects
  • Ensure compliance with approved standards and policies relating to office space and furnishings
  • Plan utilization of office space with requirements of organizational efficiency and available facilities funding

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have a High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 10 years of Facilities experience
  • Will also consider:
    • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of Facilities experience
    • Master's degree with a minimum of 4 years of Facilities experience
  • At least 5 years of experience successfully managing and leading teams
  • Experience developing and administering budgets and standards of performance
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and project teams
  • Availability to handle off-hours emergencies and holiday work
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
  • Must hold an active Top Secret clearance
  • The ability to work on-site in Boulder, CO

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Aerospace Industry Large Site Management Experience
  • Facilities Management Professional (FMP) Certification
  • Demonstrated program management experience with facilities and maintenance projects. Working with external contractors to see projects through on schedule, within budget, and meeting requirements
  • Experience with Facilities Management Systems (Archibus, Tririga, AutoCAD, etc.)

Primary Level Salary Range: $ - $The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
