Director Site Operations - Pharmacy

Location: 5303 Spine Rd Unit 100, Boulder, CO

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (must be flexible as operational needs require)

Lakeshore Talent is in search of a Director, Pharmacy Site Operations for a high-volume pharmacy fulfillment center in Boulder, Colorado. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily and long-term operations of a fast-paced, precision-driven pharmacy environment focused on long-term care at home services, including medication synchronization and adherence packaging.

This leader will play a critical role in shaping operational excellence, improving patient outcomes, reducing inpatient stays, and supporting broader healthcare cost reduction efforts.

The Director will oversee end-to-end site operations including pharmacy technicians, fulfillment and ATP operations, packaging, delivery logistics, and inventory management. In addition, this individual will serve as the senior on-site leader, responsible for fostering a strong, compliant, and highly engaged workplace culture in partnership with cross‑functional leadership.

• Lead, develop, and maintain a highly engaged pharmacy operations team
• Drive a consistent, fair, and supportive leadership approach including employee development, performance planning, and corrective action processes
• Improve pharmacy quality metrics on a month-over-month basis
• Achieve production and cost-per-fill targets while operating within budgetary requirements
• Manage and reduce delivery cost per shipment
• Maintain inventory accuracy within a 1% variance on a quarterly basis between third‑party and internal systems
• Reduce inventory loss through process improvement and operational controls
• Serve as senior site leader for the Boulder facility, ensuring consistent application of HR policies, engagement practices, and workplace standards
• Collaborate with operational and pharmacy leadership to ensure alignment across functions and execution of strategic goals
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across fulfillment, packaging, and distribution workflows

Additional duties may be assigned based on evolving business needs.

Occasional travel may be required for department meetings, internal events, conferences, and industry-related engagements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field
• OR
• PharmD

• Proven leadership experience supervising teams of 25+ employees
• Prior experience managing managers or operating at a director level preferred
• Strong healthcare operations background with the ability to lead across varying skill levels
• Demonstrated success in coaching, development, performance management, and progressive discipline
• Experience working in high-volume, precision-based fulfillment or distribution environments
• Familiarity with pharmacy operations, including warehouse inventory systems, pharmacy software, and insurance processing workflows
