About the Team
Dash Mart is a local‑fulfillment center owned and operated by Door Dash, offering customers household essentials and other items to their doorsteps with speed, reliability, and quality.
About the RoleIn this role, you’ll manage a 5‑15k square‑foot distribution center, the local warehouse operating team, and be responsible for ensuring we maintain high quality for our customers.
Responsibilities- Lead:
Recruit, lead, coach, and retain a high‑performing team of Shift Leads (3+) and Operations Associates (6+). Set your team up for success to work safely and productively, build a positive culture, and drive employee satisfaction scores. Partner with Shift Leads to delegate daily tasks and ensure high performance. - Own:
Own the day‑to‑day operations of the Dash Mart warehouse, including preparing food in a light‑prep kitchen where applicable. Manage scheduling, a labor budget, and ensure the warehouse meets site‑level metric goals. - Delight customers:
Lead the team in providing customers with the best possible experience on each order. Maintain key quality metrics such as order accuracy and fulfillment speed, and collaborate with central teams to provide the tools and resources needed. - Strategize:
Use data to identify pain points or inefficiencies, and design, build, and execute process‑improvement projects that enhance operations, quality metrics, and the employee experience.
- 3+years of team leadership experience in high‑volume operations (retail, grocery, hospitality, fulfillment, logistics, or operations) with a track record of developing people and delivering results.
- Managed high‑performance teams of 10+ employees.
- Acts as an owner, supporting a 24/7 business across multiple shifts, and is available for late‑night and weekend coverage.
- Solves problems from first principles and resists “this is how it’s always been done” thinking.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, thrives in rapid change, and learns quickly.
- Analytical, data‑first problem solver, experienced with Excel or Google Sheets, and can use basic formulas and pivot tables.
- College degree or relevant professional work experience.
Base salary range: $64,800 – $95,300 USD. Includes equity grant opportunities.
