Function- Champions and implements innovative strategic initiatives associated with the Boulder Chamber’s transportation policy, transportation demand management, and workforce mobility interests that align with the Boulder Chamber organizations and their mission, vision, and budget goals.
- Facilitates external connections for partnerships, investors, grants, and sponsor ships in relation to the Boulder Chamber’s transportation policy, workforce mobility, and transportation demand management activities.
- Manages the Transportation Connections staff team, Chamber Staff, and Consultants/Contractors to ensure efficient deployment of their time, facilitate positive team dynamics, and support their professional development.
- Partners with the Boulder Chamber President/CEO, and other members of the leadership team to develop goals and implementation strategies for the Boulder Chamber, with a focus on transportation policy, workforce mobility, and transportation demand management activities.
- Reports on progress toward achieving established strategic plan goals, the status of priority initiatives, and timely delivery of data and reports to funders and stakeholders.
- Manage and develop key external relationships, connections, and partnerships that enhance the BCTC status as a local and regional TMO and strategic partner for achieving sustainable mobility goals.
- Lead the development of strategic goals and implementation plans for BCTC, while contributing to the overall mission, vision and strategic goals for the Boulder Chamber’s organizations.
- Reinforce the Boulder Chamber’s standing as an effective, knowledgeable and valued regional mobility partner by considering:
- BCTC’s status as a local and regional leader in transportation policy, workforce mobility and transportation demand management.
- Research and data analysis concerning BCTC’s reach and effectiveness.
- Benchmarking against other transportation management organizations and other chamber of commerce, and foundations.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of current partnerships, contracts, and grants to ensure the Boulder Chamber’s organizations are meeting their overall impact goals.
- Create and provide status updates and detailed reports to the BCTC’s partners, contractual parties, funders, and/or other stakeholders within the appropriate delivery timelines and with the level of detail that external stakeholders require.
- Procure and build appropriate external partnerships and negotiate terms that align with the scope of executable outcomes that the Boulder Chamber can meet, address the organization budget goals, and are consistent with the character of BCTC’s mission, goals and value proposition.
- Develop a deep understanding of the Boulder Chamber’s audience, programs, and internal operations to advance the organization’s value proposition within the scope of BCTC mission.
- Assist in the development of external revenue generation strategies that leverage BCTC assets and assist the Member Relations team in achieving the Boulder Chamber organization’s revenue goals.
- Participate as a member of the Boulder Chamber Leadership team in all annual Strategic Planning, Work Plan, and Budgeting update efforts, including all weekly activity tracking meetings.
- Own the development, management, and ongoing monitoring of BCTC’s annual budget, in line with approved strategic goals and approved work plan, including tracking expenditures and revenue against grant, contract, and funder-designated budgets.
- Own the full grant lifecycle for BCTC funding, including proposal development and submission, award administration, compliance tracking, and the preparation and timely delivery of progress, outcomes, and financial reports to grantors and funders.
