Why This Role

Green Dot Labs is seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Operations Manager to lead post-production operations across packaging, labeling, and finishing processes for carts, dabs, pre-rolls, and flower products.

This role serves as a critical operational bridge between upstream production and downstream inventory and fulfillment, ensuring finished goods are produced with accuracy, consistency, compliance, and efficiency. You’ll lead a team of 30+ employees while driving operational excellence, maintaining product integrity, and aligning production output with evolving business needs.

This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environments and is passionate about building strong teams, improving processes, and delivering consistent, high-quality results.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 30+ employees across production, packaging, print, and sanitation functions
  • Manage direct leaders, including Production Manager and Supervisors, to ensure strong frontline leadership
  • Oversee post-production operations from production handoff through final packaging and labeling of finished goods
  • Direct daily and weekly production scheduling to support both long-term planning and just-in-time production goals
  • Monitor production performance against forecasts and adjust output in coordination with planning teams
  • Ensure packaging, labeling, printing, and sanitation operations meet productivity, quality, and safety targets
  • Maintain manufacturing specifications, documentation accuracy, and compliance standards
  • Serve as the point of accountability for aligning printing output with packaging workflows, compliance requirements, and product timelines
  • Oversee sanitation programs and enforce hygiene, safety, and changeover protocols
  • Lead audit readiness efforts for OSHA, MED, and internal compliance requirements
  • Partner with Facilities to support equipment performance, preventative maintenance, and operational readiness
  • Drive process improvement initiatives focused on throughput, efficiency, and cost control
  • Track and report on key performance indicators including throughput, labor utilization, yield, and schedule adherence
  • Analyze operational data and implement improvements based on performance insights
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Compliance, Facilities, HR, Marketing, Inventory, and Fulfillment teams to align production with business priorities
What’s In It for You
  • Opportunity to lead a high-performing operations team within a top-tier cannabis brand
  • High visibility role with direct impact on production output, quality, and business performance
  • Ownership over process improvement, team development, and operational strategy
  • Collaborative, cross-functional work environment with strong leadership partnership
  • Ability to shape and scale operations in a growing, innovative company
What Makes You a Great Fit
  • 7–10+ years of experience in manufacturing or production operations, preferably in cannabis, food manufacturing, or another regulated environment
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams across production, sanitation, or shift operations
  • Strong knowledge of sanitation protocols, food safety standards, and facility hygiene best practices
  • Working knowledge of OSHA, MED, and related compliance standards
  • Experience partnering with Facilities or Maintenance teams on equipment performance and preventative maintenance
  • Familiarity with cannabis tracking and compliance…
