Position: Welder 2

Job Description

We are looking for a Welding professional to join our First Shift team in Boulder, CO. This role requires an intermediate level of skill, includes task rotation to meet production demands, and works under direct supervision. The position is located at our Rosemount facility.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Perform all duties of a Welder 1.
Hold EP-4136, EP-4051, and EP-4091 weld certifications.
Be qualified to weld 405-1195 or 485 products.
Work on basic specials, such as flange substitutions.
Identify work to be done independently and proactively flex into other areas to maximize overall product flow and efficiency.
Handle assignments that are non‑routine and moderately complex, requiring judgment in problem resolution and recommendation.
Refer the most complex issues to higher levels.
Maintain product and process quality through visual inspection and required testing, ensuring all details are completed properly.
Troubleshoot and problem‑solve initiative‑driven issues.
Document all product travelers and ensure proper quality documentation for each process.
Enter data and perform computer transactions as required.
Participate in Improvement Teams, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S+1 efforts to improve quality, shorten cycle times, and reduce costs.
Perform preventative maintenance and ensure calibration of equipment, tools, and fixtures.
Assist in the orientation and training of other welders.
Rotate work inter‑departmentally as needed.
Keep work areas clean and organized in accordance with 5S+1 principles.
Follow safety procedures, identify safety concerns, and take corrective action.
Share skills and knowledge, give and receive feedback, and set a positive example for others.
Maintain required certifications by completing training and passing weld certifications.
Cooperatively perform additional duties as assigned.

For This Role, You Will Need:

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 3 years of welding experience directly related to welding as a Welder 2 at a similar production facility.
Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel & Hastelloy TIG (GTAW) welding experience.
Capability to attain RDPF certifications per ASME Section IX for Stainless Steel.
Ability to fit up and weld products to meet dimensional specifications per drawing and drill sheet specifications.

EDUCATION: None required.

REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS: None required.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

Comfortable using a computer for emails and navigating web sites.
Oracle experience is a plus.
