Main Responsibilities:- Production Scheduling: Assist in creating and maintainingproductionschedules for optics manufacturing based on demand forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels.
- Material Coordination: Track and manage the availability of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies required for opticsproduction. Work with procurement and warehouse teams to preventproductiondelays.
- Workflow Management: Monitorproductionprogress on the shop floor, identify bottlenecks, and communicate with relevant teams to optimize throughput.
- Data Management and Reporting: Maintain accurateproductiondata including order status, inventory levels, andproductionmetrics. Prepare daily/weekly reports for management review.
- Quality and Compliance Support: Collaborate with qualitycontrolteams to ensureproductioncomplies with specifications and regulatory standards. Assist in implementing corrective actions forproductionissues.
- Communication and Coordination: Serve as a liaison betweenproduction, engineering, supply chain, and quality departments to ensure smoothproductionflow and timely resolution of issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhanceproductionefficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Basic knowledge of optics manufacturing processes and terminology is a plus.
- Experience with productionscheduling, inventory management, and ERP/MRP systems.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
- This position requires the use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Pay Range: $26.00-$29.00 per hour, depending on experience.
