Job Title:

Coating Technician I (Temp-to-Hire) Pay: $20–$24/hour (based on experience)

Location:

Boulder, CO Shifts Available: 2nd

Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM → Includes $2.00/hour shift differential Weekend

Shift: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM → Includes 12% shift differential Job Store Staffing is now hiring for a Coating Technician I to join a leading manufacturing company in Boulder, CO. Position Overview:

As a Coating Technician I, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and inspecting optical components used in high-precision equipment. You'll support operations by ensuring proper setup and loading of coating chambers while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and inspect optical substrates for defects or contamination Perform spin cleaning on small optics Prepare parts and tooling for coating processes Load/unload parts into vacuum coating chambers Package optical components for next stage or shipment Read and interpret process documentation and work instructions Handle chemicals safely and follow all FOD (Foreign Object Debris) control protocols Support 6S workplace organization practices Assist with basic incoming inspections Participate in ongoing safety training and procedures

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred Previous experience in a process manufacturing or cleanroom environment at your most recent job required. Comfortable with physical work — must be able to lift up to 25 lbs Background check and drug test required
