Boulder, Colorado Pay Rate: $26–$32 per hour Industry: Pharmaceutical Manufacturing / CDMO Position Summary Kelly is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Material Handler to support warehouse, production, and laboratory operations. This position is responsible for safely receiving, storing, transporting, and distributing raw materials, chemicals, analytical solvents, equipment, and manufacturing supplies. The ideal candidate will have previous forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment while following current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and all applicable safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to safely transport raw materials, chemicals, solvents, supplies, and equipment.
- Deliver materials to production departments, laboratories, and other designated areas.
- Receive, load, and unload incoming and outgoing shipments at warehouse docks.
- Inspect deliveries and report damaged materials, discrepancies, or late shipments to Purchasing or the appropriate department.
- Store chemicals and manufacturing materials according to shelf-life, safety, compatibility, and handling requirements.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and complete timely data entry in SAP or other inventory-management systems.
- Prepare, review, and file required warehouse and material-handling documentation.
- Assist with cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and general warehouse organization.
- Follow all cGMP requirements, SOPs, safety procedures, and environmental regulations.
- Participate in required GMP, safety, equipment, and compliance training.
- Identify and report workplace hazards, unsafe conditions, or potential compliance concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready warehouse environment.
Qualifications
- Previous material-handling, warehouse, shipping and receiving, or inventory-control experience.
- Previous forklift operation experience is required.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemical, food, medical-device, or another regulated manufacturing environment is preferred.
- SAP or similar inventory-management system experience is preferred.
- Basic computer, data-entry, and math skills.
- Ability to accurately complete records and follow written procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy materials with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work around chemicals and manufacturing materials.
