Our client, a leader in advanced optical manufacturing, is seeking an Optical Manufacturing Technician to join their team. As an Optical Manufacturing Technician, you will be part of the production support team, contributing to the precision coating processes that create high-quality optical components. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Optical Manufacturing Technician

Location: Boulder, CO

Pay Range: $22–$26/hour

Shift: Monday - Thursday: 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM

What's the Job?
  • Set up and operate thin film coating chamber systems to apply specialized coatings on optical components
  • Prepare and assemble tooling, spacers, and backers for coating processes
  • Load and unload optical components into coating chambers with precision
  • Monitor chamber conditions, perform chamber preparation, and ensure cleanliness and quality standards
  • Support safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace in accordance with 6S principles
What's Needed?
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Basic math and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and MS Office tools
  • Manufacturing or process-driven experience is a plus but not required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a highly controlled environment
