The Manufacturing Production Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Boulder, CO. This role is responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting unmanned aircraft components and related modular systems according to engineering specifications and production standards. Day-to-day tasks include following work instructions and schematics, operating basic hand and power tools, performing quality checks, documenting production activities, and reporting issues to supervisors or engineers.
The associate will help maintain a clean and organized work area, monitor inventory levels for parts and materials, and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, efficiency, and product reliability. Collaboration with engineering, logistics, and quality teams is expected to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Manufacturing and assembly skills, including hands-on experience with mechanical or electronic components in a production environment.
- Basic technical skills, such as reading schematics or work instructions, using measurement tools, and performing routine tests or inspections.
- Quality and safety skills, including attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, and commitment to workplace safety protocols.
- Organizational and teamwork skills, including time management, reliable work habits, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to stand, lift, and perform repetitive tasks as required in a manufacturing setting, with reasonable accommodations as needed.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn new processes and technologies related to unmanned aircraft systems.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, aerospace, electronics, or related fields is beneficial but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training is a plus.
