About the Role Job Store Staffing is hiring a Fabrication Technician I for a local manufacturing facility in Boulder! This position is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, attention to detail, and learning new skills in a high-tech production environment. As a Fabrication Technician, you'll work with a team to produce precision optical components following detailed specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform optical fabrication processes including beveling, blocking, edging, milling, sawing, and grinding.
- Operate equipment to shape and finish components within tight tolerances (up to.001").
- Inspect and clean parts to maintain quality standards.
- Read and interpret work instructions and blueprints.
- Use precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, comparators, and microscopes.
- Assist with general production tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Strong attention to detail and math skills
- Ability to follow written instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- No prior experience required — training provided!
