Overview

Team Up Ameri Corps places Ameri Corps members at organizations throughout Southwest Colorado. Through collaborative service, Team Up Ameri Corps members develop professional skills, support community organizations, and help people thrive. Members serve directly at Host Sites (non-profit, school, or government agency) as part of a cohort that connects, learns, and builds community together. Positions include full- and part-time roles in various focus areas.

All positions require a motivated individual committed to improving the well-being of southwest Colorado community members. Focus areas include youth development, restorative justice, immigrant resource navigation, economic mobility, housing security, social-emotional learning, and early childhood education. Member Duties

This Ameri Corps member will fill an important gap in afternoon programming at The Community Treehouse. This role will help create welcoming spaces, educational activities, and playgroups that engage families and older children throughout the summer. The Connection Host will focus on building connections, reducing parent isolation, and creating meaningful opportunities for families to gather, learn, play, and feel supported. This role aims to expand afternoon outreach and strengthen The Treehouse as a community hub for families.

This position is ideal for someone who is community-minded, organized, warm, and passionate about supporting families.
