#BLS required by end of conditional period. #1-2 years psychiatric experience preferred. Responsibilities #Provides direct total patient care for specific group of patients with collaboration as needed. #Demonstrates clinical competence in performing nursing procedures and identifies the rationale underlying the nursing skills. #Identifies patient care problems, makes interventions based upon an understanding of the biopsychosocial processes. #Assesses patient status systematically and anticipates and responds to changes in patient clinical condition.

#Actively seeks participation of the patient, family, and other members of the health care team to assure continuity of patient care. #Communicates clearly in all aspects of documentation. #Identifies patient learning needs, develops and implements an individualized teaching plan for patients.
