Seasonal RN Clinical Coordinator

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our RN Clinical Coordinator, you will actively support the department director/manager by coordinating clinical and department activities for the unit, serving as a vital clinical resource and professional role model.

Every day you will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, ensure high-quality care delivery, act as a crucial link between physicians and the patient care team, authorize work procedures, assign duties, manage as shift charge, and actively take patient assignments based on unit needs and acuity, all while promoting patient well-being and adhering to professional standards.

• Assesses patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records & clinical data.
• Evaluates patient’s response and intervenes to ensure optimal patient outcome.
• Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes in accordance with nursing standards and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provides leadership, support, and coordination of unit’s daily operations during designated shift.
• Assists in directing, organizing, and prioritizing all shift activities ensuring patient care and staff needs are met.
• Ensures appropriateness of admissions/cases to the unit/department and that appropriate staff skill mix exists to provide safe patient care.

We are offering $6,000 seasonal bonus to hires who meet eligibility requirements

$400/month Summit County housing stipend available for full time residents of Summit, Park, Eagle, Grand, Clear Creek or Lake Counties. Must work at least 80% physically on-site at a Common Spirit Health
- Mountain Region facility in Summit County and full time or part time status (PRN ineligible). More details available upon offer.

• Associates Degree in Nursing or by endorsement
• One (1) year of clinical RN experience.
• RN license to practice in state of employment as applicable.

• TNCC American Heart Association
• ENPC American Heart Association
• PALS American Heart Association

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Nursing Specialty Certification
