The State of Colorado's Colorado Parks and Wildlife seeks temporary Park Ranger staff at Vega State Park in western Colorado. The role is an unarmed law enforcement position; most duties occur outdoors in all seasons, lasting up to nine months and up to 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities include citations, patrols, emergencies, reports, and supporting daily park operations such as revenue handling, facilities maintenance, and visitor services. Housing may be available for out-of-area applicants.
