Key Responsibilities
  • Support laboratory technicians in their performance of quality testing of in-process materials and finished products.
  • Meticulously prepare samples, conduct analytical tests and document results.
  • Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot analytical instruments; execute routine repairs, assist with moderate repairs under guidance, and coordinate manufacturer service for complex issues.
  • Verify raw materials against specifications by reviewing Certificates of Analysis and expeditiously release to manufacturing within ERP.
  • Assist with assessing new analytical instruments. Assist with analytical test method development. Make recommendations for instrument acquisitions.
  • Perform frequent audits to ensure that quality control systems are maintained, and in compliance.
  • Utilize and maintain statistical process control charts (SPC) and JMP Statistical Software to maintain instrument precision, repeatability, reproducibility, and measurement correlation.
  • Perform frequent audits to ensure that quality control systems are maintained and are in compliance.
  • Utilize SPC charts to identify, investigate, and correct manufacturing out-of-control conditions.
  • Comply with quality control policies and procedures and maintain required documentation.
  • Maintain a safe environment in accordance with standards, policies and safety regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, ISO regulations, and safety protocols.
