Company Description Eartharvest Foods is a food manufacturing company located in Boulder Colorado, primarily producing bakery snack products.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Assurance Manager role based in Boulder, CO. The Quality Assurance Manager oversees food safety and quality systems, ensuring that all products meet internal standards and regulatory requirements. Daily responsibilities include developing and maintaining QA procedures, conducting inspections and audits, reviewing production records, and managing nonconformance investigations and corrective actions. The role collaborates closely with operations, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues, optimize processes, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

The manager also trains and mentors staff on quality and safety practices, prepares documentation for regulatory and customer audits, and monitors key quality metrics to support consistent, safe product delivery.

Qualifications

  • Experience establishing, managing, and improving quality assurance and food safety programs, including HACCP, GMPs, and related procedures.
  • Proficiency in auditing processes, conducting inspections, and documenting findings in manufacturing or food production environments.
  • Skill in data analysis, root cause investigation, and implementing corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams and train staff on quality standards.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards for food production and distribution.
  • Experience as an SQF practitioner or similar GFSI audit experience; has been through a few audits.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage multiple projects, and maintain detailed documentation in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing or a similar regulated industry.
