The Property Manager supervises Assistant Property Managers, Leasing Specialists, resident services staff, and maintenance staff through the Regional Property Manager. At least three years of housing or property-management experience with multisite oversight of more than 250 units is required.

The Property Manager certifies eligibility, processes renewals and recertifications, organizes resident files, and works to maintain occupancy while limiting turnover.
Daily portfolio control covers rent collection, lease violations, evictions, inspections, maintenance issues, curb appeal, and safety. The role also tracks move-outs, settlements, collections, and lease-ups in Yardi as part of real estate operations . Financial reports and site budgets receive review with the Regional Property Manager, while compliance reports follow file pre-audits and internal reviews.

The Property Manager leads property customer-service teams that include property management, resident services, and maintenance staff. The role addresses resident issues, maintains regular onsite office hours, and coordinates with staff when a concern crosses leasing, maintenance, or resident services.

Qualifications And Work ConditionsProject-based voucher or HUD-assisted housing experience is strongly preferred, while comparable affordable-housing experience can qualify a candidate who can learn project-based voucher requirements.
