Job SummaryThe Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) Program is establishing a strategic partnership with materials-focused industries to strengthen and expand its research enterprise. This position will work in close collaboration with the MSE Program Director, Associate Directors, and program staff to develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy.

What YourKey Responsibilities Will Be
- Participating in an MSE‑led working group to define partnership goals and priorities
- Engaging with key stakeholders across campus to align institutional capabilities and opportunities
- Identifying and evaluating best practices from comparable academic‑industry partnership models
- Collaborating closely with the MSE External Advisory Board to inform strategy development
- Identifying, developing, and cultivating new industry partnerships
- Preparing and presenting partnership plans and recommendations to MSE leadership
The salary for this 50% position will be $54,080 annually.

- PhD in Engineering or a similar field.
- At least 3 years of Post‑Doctoral Research Associate work experience.
