NIST's Time & Frequency Division in Boulder, CO, is seeking an Atomic Clock Research Physicist to develop and improve atomic frequency standards, advance microwave and optical clock technologies, and contribute to the UTC(NIST) timescale.
Basic requirements include a physics degree with 24 physics hours and at least one year of specialized experience in laser cooling or trapping of atoms, molecules, or ions, or a master's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
