Job SummaryThe Brumbaugh lab is seeking enthusiastic and talented applicants for an open Research Associate position. This position would include both research and administrative opportunities. The ideal candidate would be highly organized and possess strong interpersonal skills. Lab experience, particularly in the areas of molecular biology, developmental biology is preferred. Position will look to start as soon as possible after posting closes and candidate is selected.

What YourKey Responsibilities Will Be Administrative Duties
- Coordinate lab repositories of plasmids and cell lines
- Organize biosafety certification and animal husbandry protocols
- Introduce incoming lab members to common laboratory practices and safety guidelines
- Oversee ordering of research items
- Communicate with vendor representatives regarding orders
- Maintain common lab reagents, equipment, and consumables
- Unpack and distribute orders upon arrival
- Design and execute experiments
- Contribute to project management
- Develop research technology
The salary range for this position is $40,000 - $72,000 annually depending on percentage of time up to 90% (34 hours per week) and experience.

What We Require- PhD or equivalent degree in molecular biology, developmental biology, biochemistry, or a related field.
- 3 or more years of postdoctoral experience.
- A working knowledge of basic software (word, excel, PowerPoint).
- A strong interest in developmental and molecular biology.
