Job SummaryAssists Store Leader(s) in day-to-day management of one or more retail locations, focusing on creating a positive working environment with special emphasis on store marketing, operations, and staff development. Requires occasional nights and weekends.
Pay Range: $16.38–$26.21 per hour. Exact rate will be based on position and experience level.
Key Responsibilities- Primary focus on customer experience including customer service, staff development, and operations.
- Partner to develop a team mentality in operational and customer experience areas to ensure store success.
- Support the company in meeting sustainability goals related to the environment, employees, community, and overall improvement.
- Leadership:
Help hire and train team members, engage staff to grow skills and stay aligned with ONP mission‑driven activities including B‑Corp status. - Customer Engagement:
Build strong relationships with customers and support a safe and inclusive work environment for team, customers, and their pets. - Initiative:
In partnership with Store Leader, support merchandising initiatives and set standards for success. - Reporting/Scheduling/Inventory:
Support Store Leader in overall scheduling, inventory control, and related reporting requirements.
- 4+ years of related experience or equivalent, preferably with two years in the pet industry.
- Champions excellent customer service, problem‑solving, and positive store culture.
- Ability to multi‑task and prioritize in a fast‑paced, dynamic work environment.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Eligible for a quarterly bonus and additional benefits as described by the company.
