• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Meets minimum state requirements to perform the functions related to the position.
• Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Any previous comparable experience.
• Equivalent experience of a pharmacy clerk.
• Familiarity with EPRN.
• Compliance with local, state and federal regulations; reporting all illegal activity, including robbery, theft or fraud.
• Compliance with and reinforcement of all food safety, sanitation and safety regulations/guidelines/programs according to company, local, state, and federal health code regulations; identifying unsafe conditions and notifying store management.
• Understanding and performing ordering functions with primary and secondary wholesalers.
• Knowledge of computerized inventory management, control, and ordering of medications, devices, supplements, and supplies.
• Maintenance of departmental standards, keeping workstations and customer waiting areas clean and organized.
• Counting, measuring and preparing specified products using company best practices.
• Accurate completion of billing procedures to ensure best value to customer and company.
• Answering phone and triage calls and inquiries as appropriate.
• Understanding and adherence to guidelines on accepting and tendering vendor coupons, limits on cash shortages, and company shrink guidelines.
• Understanding and following cash register operation and all cashier handling policies.
• Providing a stellar customer experience while accurately and efficiently completing reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing.
• Assisting pharmacist in all responsibilities except those that require professional judgment.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and company policies regarding data privacy.
• Support of company health and wellness initiatives.
• Putting away legend orders, including Central Fill deliveries.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a high‑paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational, and cooperative manner.
• Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues.
• Providing support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults.
