Position Summary

The Part‑time Sales Lead is an entry‑level leadership role responsible for opening and closing the store, supporting sales performance, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and executing day‑to‑day store operations. This Sales Lead supports the Store Manager by following customer engagement strategies and maintaining merchandising standards that support a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities Brand Experience / Customer Service
  • Ensure excellence in customer service in the store by upholding high retail standards to ensure an in‑store experience that aligns with company standards.
  • Initiate conversations with all customers, building a relationship to learn interests and identify products to suggest.
  • Assist customer in the fitting room.
  • Recommend product that is aligned with customer needs and preferences through suggestive selling and encourages the customer to make a purchase.
  • Build brand loyalty by promoting the rewards program and achieves weekly loyalty sign‑up goals.
  • Learn about new products and trends to better engage customers.
  • Consistently achieve personal sales targets and contribute to overall store performance.
  • Provides information and advice on product performance, features, and specifications.
Visual, Operation, and Safety
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and well‑stocked.
  • Assist in daily store operations, including opening and closing, freight processing, accurately process transactions, handle cash, and maintain point‑of‑sale integrity.
  • Follows company and store policies, procedures, and operational guidelines; communicates concerns to store leadership.
  • Assigns tasks to team members as directed to support operational needs.
  • React quickly to all customers and/or employee injuries and report them immediately to the Manager on Duty.
  • Participates in Loss Prevention Audits, understands and complies with company loss prevention policies to minimize store shrink.
Leadership
  • Acts as Manager on Duty in the absence of the other members of the leadership team.
  • Regularly communicates any employee concerns directly to the Store Manager.
  • Assists with onboarding and training new team members in sales behaviors, customer service expectations, and store procedures.
  • Addresses customer concerns professionally and in accordance with company guidelines.

Job Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Retail or customer‑facing experience preferred but not required.
  • Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business.
  • This role requires a minimum availability of 30 hours per week including one weekend day and rotating holidays; additional availability a plus.
