Walmart is seeking a leadership-focused professional to drive store performance, develop teams, and execute business initiatives. The role emphasizes customer service excellence, operational leadership, financial management, and team development within a designated store area.
What you’ll do- Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, listening to associates, touring stores, providing feedback, and communicating with all levels of staff about store operations, technology initiatives, merchandising, and company direction.
- Model exceptional customer service standards using the One Best Way service model; manage and support customer service initiatives and community outreach programs; resolve customer needs and issues; implement action plans to correct deficiencies and drive process improvements.
- Drive financial performance by reviewing PL statements, assisting in budgeting/forecasting, controlling expenses, ensuring alignment to sales, and managing merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and shrink mitigation to meet sales and profit goals.
- Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting expectations, recognition, and promoting a culture of belonging; recruit and develop qualified staff.
- Coordinate and oversee job-related activities by building relationships with key stakeholders, communicating goals, measuring progress, identifying improvement opportunities, and promoting continuous learning.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethics, and integrity; support Open Door Policy and apply these in executing business processes and practices.

- 2 years of college OR 1 year of retail experience with 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience with 1 year of supervisory experience.
- For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check and Firearms Authorized Training may be required.
- Associates must attend and complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).

- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University; experience supervising 5+ direct reports including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $ with potential for performance-based bonuses. Additional compensation may include regional pay differentials and other factors where applicable.
