Job Description: We are searching for the best talent for Sales Associate to be in Boulder, CO territory.
About Orthopaedics: We are developing smarter, less invasive, more personalized treatments for orthopaedics, specifically in joint reconstruction, trauma, cranio‑maxillofacial, spinal surgery, sports, extremities, elective foot and ankle, and robotics and digital surgery.
Key Responsibilities- Assist DePuy Synthes sales organization in retaining and supporting further penetration with existing customers while supporting product conversions with new customers and achieving sales goals in prescribed territory.
- Guide and assist surgeons in the operating room through clinical and product knowledge, presenting, demonstrating, and ensuring proper utilization of DePuy Synthes products.
- Support customers by attending surgeries, ensuring proper equipment is available and performing procedures, optimizing trays, and providing Operating Room and Sterile Processing Department consultation.
- Troubleshoot and provide technical assistance, handle customer requests, effectively manage hospital billing, and create/close purchase orders.
- Share key customer, procedural, and marketplace insights with other sales, clinical, marketing, and strategic account teams to improve solutions and service levels, and prepare sales reports and documents.
- Maintain, track, and deploy equipment and assets throughout the assigned area, ensuring product availability and preserving promotional materials, and ensuring services meet highest quality standards.
- Focus on customer satisfaction and retention, improving customers’ understanding of DePuy Synthes value proposition, and differentiating products versus competition.
- Bachelor’s Degree or
- Associate Degree or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.) with minimum 2 years of professional and/or related experience or
- Minimum of 4 years of professional and/or related experience or
- Recently transitioned from Active Military Duty.
- Ability to work in a lab/operating room environment.
- A valid driver’s license issued in the United States.
- Ability to travel, including weekend and/or overnight travel.
- Residence in or willingness to relocate to the posted territory.
- Strong interpersonal communication, negotiation, influencing, strategic thinking, problem solving, and business acumen skills.
- Efficient, organized, self‑motivated, positive, and proactive.
- Strong technical product knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, protocols, and solutions preferred.

Anticipated Base Pay: Position is 100% commission/incentive compensation and is eligible for a bi‑weekly draw.
Benefits: Company-sponsored employee benefit programs include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible for the Company’s long‑term incentive program.
Paid Time Off: Vacation – 120 hours per calendar year;
Sick time – 40 hours per calendar year;
For employees who reside in Washington – 56 hours;
Holiday pay including Floating Holidays – 13 days per calendar year;
Work, Personal and Family Time – up to 40 hours;
Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of birth/adoption/foster care;
Condolence Leave – 30 days for an immediate family member; 5 days for an extended family member;
Caregiver Leave – 10 days;
Volunteer Leave – 4 days;
Military Spouse Time‑Off – 80 hours.
