Showroom Salesperson - Flatirons Kitchen & Bath
Hourly pay: $20–$26 per hour.
About the Role- Provide expert product selection assistance and design advice to showroom customers.
- Ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction to meet or exceed sales and gross profit goals.
- Welcome each customer and articulate showroom value proposition.
- Determine customer needs, recommend products, identify potential hurdles, and keep sale moving forward.
- Use Hajoca technology to guide product selections, review specifications, pricing, and availability.
- Use sales reports and forecasting tools to meet or exceed established targets.
- Enter sales orders and bids, expedite purchases, and stay engaged with customers from beginning to end of projects.
- Process showroom sale returns and refund paperwork per company policy.
- Keep showroom clean, neat, stocked, and safely displayed.
- Join industry associations and attend professional events to stay informed about design trends, new products, and build relationships.
- Complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.
- Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned.
- 1+ years’ experience in customer service or sales; plumbing showroom sales preferred.
- Knowledge of products sold in the showroom preferred.
- Knowledge of kitchen and bath design trends.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word) for email, contact files, and appointment calendars.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Deep product knowledge to answer customer questions and identify upsell or cross‑sell opportunities.
- Ability to overcome objections and close sales.
- Ability to build relationships and trust with vendor partners.
- Positive working relationships and team spirit.
- Plan, organize, and multi‑task.
- Able to learn and operate computer systems used to process orders.
- Read, write, speak and understand English.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals).
