Travel Sales Specialist
As a Kimkim Sales Specialist, you will assist travelers from initial inquiries to booking. Your goal is to maximize your conversion rate and sales volume through great communication and sales skills, and make sure you understand each traveler's unique requirements and preferences. Based on your destination knowledge, your sales chops, and Kimkim's advanced suite of AI tools, you will be empowered to be a "superhuman" travel specialist who delights travelers and ensures they will have 6-star travel experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Maximize conversion and sales volume
- Understand detailed trip requirements to ensure a highly positive experience for Kimkim travelers throughout the planning and booking process
- Communicating with travelers through Kimkim chat and over the phone about:
- Sharing destination insights
- General travel tips
- Accommodations and activities Kimkim offers
- How to use Kimkim
- Crafting a trip plan that meets the traveler's needs and preferences
- Preparation for their trip departure
- Handle a steady stream of new trip inquiries and stay on top of ongoing trip planning chats with assistance from Kimkim's AI.
- Verifying that the components of each itinerary are up-to-date and accurate
About You
You are a great travel sales professional with a proven track record of exceeding targets. You excel at helping consumers make sense of complex travel products from mid-range boutique to luxury trips. You are excited about working in a performance-oriented environment where you achieve and exceed your goals, and get compensated accordingly. You are passionate about travel, have visited your focus destination at least once, and ideally, have visited many countries.

- A passion for travel planning and a proven track record in a travel sales role
- In-depth destination knowledge
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Highly organized and able to prioritize and track multiple projects at once
- Strong customer service skills and a passion for helping others
- Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs
- Excited to build strong relationships with travelers and colleagues
- An entrepreneurial mindset and an eagerness to learn, experiment, and continuously strive to improve
- Highly adaptable and able to operate effectively in a rapidly changing startup environment
- Able to work independently, with support from a global team
- Eager to take on new projects and more responsibility
Compensation & Benefits
- $56,000 + commission, OTE of $80,000

Position Details
This position is based out of Kimkim's Boulder, Colorado office. The Boulder team works in the office 3 days a week with the option for in-office or remote the other 2 days. While your working hours are somewhat flexible, the goals and pace of the work will require consistent availability during business hours.
