Security Officer - Secret Clearance (Part‑time) in Boulder, CO

Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $28.96 / Hour
Job Schedule:
- Tue: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Wed: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
- Thur: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
What You’ll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security‑related procedures and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, document observations, and communicate with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and verify entry activity according to site protocols to support authorized access and accountability.
- Observe and report hazards, maintenance issues, and suspicious behavior while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid experience or certification is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment; a valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.
