- Lead and supervise a crew of 1–6 workers on sealants and waterproofing installations.
- Ensure jobsite safety compliance, including proper PPE use and safe operation of equipment.
- Install expansion joints, traffic coatings, and various sealant systems per project specifications.
- Perform waterproofing and fire stopping applications using approved materials and systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and material safety data sheets.
- Maintain quality control and ensure all work meets company and manufacturer standards.
- Communicate daily progress, quantities installed, and job updates to field and office teams.
- Coordinate with manufacturers’ representatives and jobsite stakeholders as needed.
- Operate hand and power tools and maintain clean, organized job sites and equipment.
- Mix and match custom sealant colors as required for project specifications.
- Attend jobsite meetings and support coordination of field activities.
- Mentor and train crew members to improve skills, safety, and productivity.
The ideal candidate is an experienced sealants and waterproofing professional with proven leadership ability in a field environment. They are highly skilled in material application, blueprint reading, and jobsite execution while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality
. This individual is dependable, hands‑on, and capable of leading small crews effectively while adapting to changing jobsite conditions and maintaining high productivity standards.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 5+ years of sealants and waterproofing installation experience.
- Prior experience leading or supervising construction crews.
- Strong knowledge of sealant and waterproofing materials (urethane, silicone, hybrid, acrylic).
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Valid driver’s license with ability to operate company vehicles safely.
- OSHA 30, CPR certification, and lift/swing stage experience preferred.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
- Ability to travel to various job sites as required.
- Self‑motivated with strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally and frequent bending, climbing, kneeling, twisting, squatting, crawling, and repetitive hand/arm use.
